Thanksgiving. Waking up at 6 a.m. in the morning to a warm kitchen in our cold house and smelling the aromas of the turkey permeating throughout the house is the best.

Sugar Cookie Icing

This icing is shiny and definitely hardens like it states, but it's very difficult to use in a piping bag to write words because it's too thick (even after "thinning" it lots with the syrup).

Magic Cookie Bars from EAGLE BRAND(r)

I made this for my middle school students and they all LOVED it. They literally devoured whatever morsel was left. Very easy and definitely a kid pleaser!
