Passover Apple Cake

I made this cake three times during Passover and it was devoured every time. It's a great taste. So many apples! Don't overcook it or the apples will become too sweet. Thanks Shelley!

I ran out of almonds in the middle, so I mixed some hazelnuts into the blend. These tasted great. I used heart shaped cookie cutters to pathetically romantic sandwiches for my boyfriend. This dough is tough to work with because it gets incredibly sticky and it doesn't hold together well, but if you can manage it, the cookie tastes fabulous. Thanks Regina!

Honey Cake I

I made this for my boyfriend's grandmother for a holiday dinner. She loved it. I prefer a honey cake with a soaking syrup, but for what it is, this cake is perfect. Thank you Suzanne.

Pineapple Cookies III

Amazing cookies. Soft, with a clean citrus flavor. I would definitely use more pineapple next time...the glaze, with the orange zest, is the dominant flavor...and that's not a bad thing at all! Wonderful cookies. Thank you, LeeAnn!

Cranberry Swirl Coffee Cake

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Banana Coconut Loaf

I love this bread. The almond extract+the coconut adds such a sophisticated gourmet flavor to this banana bread. I left out the cherries. Will definitely make again, great texture, great taste. Thanks Carol. :)

Pat's Award Winning Carrot Cake

This carrot cake seems to be the best one I have found so far but I'm still not happy with it. If you can taste the oil, then there's too much of it. I prefer lighter, cleaner cake. I guess most people prefer moist cake that slides down your throat like...well...whatever. The flavor is a nice one. Will make again with less oil.

Pear Bread II

When I made this bread, it did not taste like pears AT ALL! The texture was nice, moist...the flavor nice,sweet but not like pears! I may use this recipe again with barlett pears instead of the bosc pears that I used and I would add some pear extract or pear nectar if I were to try it again.

Apple Spice Cake

I made this cake as muffins and it came out superb. I was in a rush and it took no time at all. They didn't look very pretty as muffins, but the powdered sugar on top took care of that. I added a touch of ginger. Excellent. Highly recommended.

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Look out...the batter is very wet. I used only 3/4 cup oil and it's still moist! It took a lot longer than 30 minutes to bake. The cake tastes good, but kind of boring. I need to figure out what to add to it to give it a kick. I used 3 cups sugar for the frosting...it's a little too grainy, but the flavor compliments the cake nicely.

Banana Nut Bread I

I liked it the first time, but this time it didn't come out quite right. it has a nice flavor, but it's too moist in the middle and it shrinks when you take it out of the oven, so sadly. Definitely use at least 1 cup nuts.
