Roquefort Pear Salad

This is a very easy review to write...YUMMY!!! Best salad I have ever eaten...and I've had some excellent salads! (I left out garlic in dressing b/c I ddin't have any and used very thinly sliced red onion since I forgot green onion. I also reduced sugar on pecans...just a tad!)

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Excellent chili and easy to make!! I browned meat and onions the night before, then, added all ingredients in crockpot in AM and came home to yummy dinner!! I used one can of sauce and one can of dice tomatoes. (It didn't come out soupy but had a little bit of liquid...which we like.) I also made my own chili seasoning (b/c I forgot it at the store). I used the Chili Seasoning Mix II from this site but without the flour and did not use the dried onion or garlic (I put both in the ground beef). I also did not add very much red pepper since I have 2 small kids and didn't want it too spicy! This was a great Halloween evening meal!! Thanks!!

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

YUMMMYYYY!!! I don't write many reviews. This one was worth it! We usually end up having to pour sauce on our chicken to make it flavorful...not this one. My 2 year old and 5 year old ate it up too! Definitely a keeper. I forgot to set aside some for basting but we didn't really need it. I let it marinade in fridge while grill was heating up and that is all!

Burrito Pie

Excellent and easy! Had it for dinner (two young kids and hubby loved it), lunch the next day, and can't wait to make the one I froze. (I divided it into 2 like others suggested.) I also spread the tortillas as others suggested instead of mixing in mixture! Came out great!

Sour Cream Pumpkin Bundt Cake

Delicious...says everyone in my house!! I followed the recipe for the cake and filling exactgly except I baked them as cupcakes (for 24 minutes at 350). Since some reviewers used different topppings I couldn't decide what to do. My 4 year old and I decided to make 3 types, store bought cream cheese icing, the glaze, and plain. All were great! For the glaze, I put it on a plate and turned my cupcakes upside down in the glaze. It worked great. One reviewer said that the glaze tasted like orange Beyer aspirin, which it did by itself but is delicious on the cupcakes. Will definitely use this recipe again and again!! Yummy!
