This is a yummy recipe, but I had to make changes. First, I didn't have Cocoa krispies so I melted some semi-sweet chocolate chips into the corn syrup/sugar mix just before adding the regular krispies. Second, the caramel mix was a complete FLOP!! The butter and sugar never came together. So I substituted w/ a 16oz tub of candy apple caramel. I heated the tub of caramel in a pot of water (I don't have a microwave) and then spread over the krispies. Note: I was in a bit of a hurry so I put the pan in the freezer to get the caramel and chocolate to set up. But the whole thing is yummy, gooey, goodness.
