Grilled Sausages with Caramelized Onions and Apples

My husband and I both loved it. I only had chicken Italian sausage and added a little liquid smoke, and used balsalmic vinegar since I was out of the others, but I thought the flavors were divine.

Chicken and Apple Curry

I did this recipe in the crockpot and it turned out fabulous--just added all the ingredients in the pot and set for low for 7 hours. Chicken was very moist and flavorful. I realized after I started making this that i had no curry powder....big oops, but I used tumeric and other spices, used coconut milk instead of milk, and it still tasted like curry. Just a few things I tried for those looking to add veggies-- I added cubed potatoes to the crock pot (my favorite curry dishes have potatoes) and served over sticky rice and steamed broccoli. I wasn't sure how it would be with broccoli, but I was really surprised how nice the flavors were together! Loved the recipe, thanks!

Quick Creamy Spinach and Tomato Pasta

We enjoyed this pasta dish! I only had a can of olive oil-garlic diced tomatoes on hand and no pesto--so I sprinkled in some dried basil instead with it. I thought it was great and can't wait to try it with the pesto next time! Thanks!

Potato, Ham, Broccoli and Cheese Soup with Baby Dumplings

Yum, loved this recipe! I had never made dumplings, so I was skeptical about how they would turn out--but they gave the soup good texture and I was pleased with the results. I would call this a chowder instead of a soup because it's so thick and hearty-might add more liquid next time. Well done!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

this is one of the only dishes I've made that my husband hasn't made suggestions of what would make it better. That's pretty amazing--he loved these. The only ingredient change I made was using ground turkey instead of beef. I served it with a small side of shell pasta, drizzled some of the extra sauce on top with a dash of Parmesan cheese.
