Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2014
Yes! These are easy to make and just like the PB kiss cookies. Definitely making again! Followed directions exactly and put my Reece's in the freezer so they wouldn't melt.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2014
Amazing! Easy to make with the kids. Made the cookies according to the recipe, except for adding under 1/2 teaspoon of salt and I will probably even add less salt, 1/4 teaspoon. I always make rolled sugar cookies every season, but with having less time for baking I was looking for an alternative....these are definitely great to make and do not take much time at all!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2014
Yummy! Definitely recommend trying this recipe. All my kids loved it! Husband loves the cornbread cake, so I thought this would be a great alternative to the store bought mix. Totally better and tasted great. Will make again. I substituted Greek yogurt for the sour cream as it is much healthier and a great replacement.

The Best Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2014
Simple and easy potatoes to make. I followed Chef Johns video instructions and they turned out great. I have made my potatoes in the past with chive and onion cream cheese and that made my potatoes taste great! I like both recipes, but this one has less fat and taste great. I made mine with 2% milk too! If you like Garlic add that when you season with salt and pepper. I actually only seasoned with Cajun seasoning the first time I made these...mistake of grabbing the wrong spice. Still amazing. Great recipe to use and add your own spices too.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2014
I have made this recipe a few times. I made it with less salt than suggested the first time and it was great. 2nd time I made it, I made it as suggested and it was too much salt. I eat a low salt diet so maybe I am just more sensitive to it. 5 stars with less salt.

Wake-Up Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2013
Absolutely love this recipe! The hash browns make this recipe. I thought there was way too much meat and cheese, but it worked out great. I had to cook an extra 20 mins longer.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2013
My favorite recipe for mashed potatoes! I had a recipe that called for cream cheese and I loved that recipe until I became lactose intolerant. I can handle butter no problem so this is by far my favorite new recipe and the best recipe I have had for mashed potatoes!!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2013
Followed recipe exactly. I boiled my peaches for 2 minutes to help peal the skins as suggested, but I think I needed to boil and cool longer than suggested. I used Peaches that weren't too soft, so maybe that was apart of it, but regardless I was able to peal 50 - 80% of the peach with ease and then had to use my knife to remove the remaining. The Cobbler is delicious and will make again!

Egg and Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2013
This recipe is more of a cheesy egg than egg with cheese casserole. I have tried this recipe two different ways, both are great. I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out well. The crescent roll was even baked up - where when I add more milk and eggs it doesn't because the liquid will bake into the crescent roll. This casserole is more of a cheesy casserole that will favor towards children. The other time I made this was by adding 10 eggs, cutting the cheese in half and adding milk as suggested by the reviews. The casserole was great this way too. If you like more egg, add more egg, if you want to try a kid friendly cheesy version, keep the recipe as is.

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2013
This was really delicious! You can use the suggested spices or use your own. I followed the recipe and used Taco Seasoning. The 2nd time I made it, I added double the cumin and added Chipotle Chili Powder. Both times were good. I also doubled the recipe.

So good, my husband I each can polish off half of this dish. We shouldn't but too irresistible and a very filling breakfast. We recently started adding Cool Whip and found that it enhances the breakfast experience!!

Turkey Goulash

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2013
You have to make a few changes to the recipe in order to give it a 5 star rating. There isn't enough sauce or too much pasta. So I made it like the recipe said, then I doubled the tomato sauce because it looked like it was too much pasta. Still added a 3rd can of tomato sauce and another can of Diced tomatoes. After I did that, the dish looked amazing and tasted great!! So I ended up using 3 cups of tomato sauce (24 ounces) and 28 ounces of Stewed diced tomatoes with seasonings of Basil, garlic and oregano. This is a must try recipe.

This recipe also can be used just as a mousse for a great dessert or side dish. I prefer to make as a mousse. Very delicious recipe.

Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2013
Makes a lot of food. When I made this dish the first time it was full in my dishes! Didn't think it would all fit and thought it might spill over. It didn't thankfully, but I do recommend cutting the recipe in half. This dish is amazing and the beau monde spice really adds the flavor to the dish.

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

I didn't have onion soup mix, so I just substituted with a teaspoon of each pepper, garlic, and Italian season. I also cut the potatoes in edible slices. Really delicious!

Cowboy Cookie Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2012
There are too many ingredients to fit in the jar. I made two jars and had a hard time fitting everything into the jar. I had to omit 1/8 cup of flour because it wouldn't fit. I followed the recipe exactly and decided not to follow it the second time. When I repeated this recipe again, I added the flour first and oats second. This arrangement worked out for the best as I was able to tamp all the ingredients down really well and fit everything. This is my suggestion for the arrangement of this recipe: flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, oats, holiday mini m&m's or chocolate chips, brown sugar, sugar and then pecan halves. I didn't like having my decorated holiday m&m's at the top as you couldn't see the color display. Hope the recipe is delicious and my family enjoys this as a gift.
