Easy Flat Iron Steak in Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2011
Wow! This steak recipe is amazing!! I've made it thrice and even messed up the ingredients once and it still came out great! The last time I subbed the same amount of mustard for marjoram and since I didn't have ea pan big enough for the slab I bought I broiled it 5 mins on one side then 3 on the other. Then I combined the drippings with the wine and shrooms boiled then simmered for 4-5 mins. Threw it under my 1.64 lb slab of meat and baked at 350 for 7 mins then 400 for 5. It came out about medium and juicy! Superb! Thank you!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
This was delish!!! I made some changes so that it would be healthier. I made my own soy sauce by boiling then simmering 3 c's water, 1/4 c red wine vinegar, 1/4 c honey, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp garlic for 30 mins or untiI had about 1/2 c of soy sauce. Instead of the sugar I used 1/2 of honey and added 1/2 tsp of salt. It came out awesome! My bf loved it and wanted more. Next time I make it though I think I will cut back on the garlic. I think it offset the flavor a bit. Otherwise 5 stars!!

These are absolutely the best brownies I've had! I added pecans and that just made them better!! The second batch I made I omitted an egg for the boyfriend because he prefers a more consistent brownie which he requested more of! Thank you for sharing this great recipe!!! =3

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
This beef stew was great!! I think it'll do nicely as a base recipe. I followed the reviews and used the garlic/onion powder/black pepper flour mixture for the beef and I added the three sauces an hour into cooking. At that point I added potatoes and onions. Thirty minutes later I added corn, tomatoes, mushrooms and more onions. It was fabulous. I didn't need to add any cornstarch at the end because it had thickened up nicely on its own. The man of my house liked it and also had it for leftovers the next day and he only does that if he likes it. Thank you!!! =)

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
This recipe was awesome!! I made three various batches of it for Xmas and everyone said they were delish!! I didn't use any bark chocolate since I want to stay away from anything hydrogenated and instead used baking bars of white chocolate and milk chocolate chips. For the last batch I didn't melt them enough so they gave the cake balls a thick coating. I guess if you prefer thin or thick you can adjust that by how much you melt the down chocolate coating. I personally loved the thin white chocolate coating myself. You can realliy get creative with this recipe!! Think I'm going to try boston creme cake balls. Vanilla cake, chocolate coating, and a dollop of pudding in the middle by using some kind of injecter. Mmmmm! Can't wait! Thank you for sharing!!!

Butterscotch Oatmeal

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
This oatmeal is awesome!! After making the recipe as is I do have to agree with some of the reviews I read. It could use more milk and possibly less sugar. About 2 cups of milk and maybe 1/4 cup of sugar or maybe 1/3. The recipe as is came out very thick and the sweetness was almost overwhelming for me after a few spoonfuls and I have a big sweet tooth. Still it's a great recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
I have made this recipe several times now and I have to say that these are some of the best cookies I've ever tasted. My boyfriend loves them and asks me to make them often. I follow the recipe as it is. Many thanks to the author for sharing it with us!! It has been a great delight and I think I will be baking several batches of these for our families some time soon.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
Just made these yesterday. They came out very soft, rich, and sweet! My boyfriend said he could only stomach two of them because of their sweet, gooey richness. I baked them a bit longer - 15 - 18 mins total - and they gained more consistency. Then I realized that I used french vanilla pudding instead of regular because that was the only instant box I had. It has made these cookies considerably sweeter. Nevertheless this is a great recipe and I believe it deserves 5 stars. Thank you for sharing!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2010
Best gingerbread cookies I've ever had! Subbed orange juice for the water and had to bake a little longer because I balled them up a big bigger than necessary. Still awesome! I'd like to add that the sugar does seems to be a bit much and leaves an aftertaste. My boyfriend called them sugar cookies. Makes me think that these should be called Big Soft Sugar Ginger cookies instead!
