Easy Punch

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2004
I liked that when I added the ginger ale it made a nice pink foam that made the punch look extra festive.

Italian Wedding Soup I

Not that flavorful. I prefer the canned variety to this. The meatballs were too mushy for my taste and it just wasn't very good.

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: May 16, 2004
Definitely needed more sauce! Also, don't put noodles too near the top or they end up like leather.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2004
Delicious! My husband and I LOVED this! The only change we made was using a vegetable boullion cube b/c somehow we lost the beef boullion we bought at the store!

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2003
I didn't use the extra butter at the end and I added some mushrooms (b/c we love them!) and it turned out so well. Very tasty and so satsifying!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2003
These were tasty but still not exactly as amazing as I was expecting. The batter was heavenly so I was expecting the cookies to be just as good, but they seemed a little too cake-like for my taste. Better than some of the other recipes out there, but still not the best I've ever had.

Angel's Old Fashioned Beef Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2003
This was very good! I took the advice of someone from another posting and added a few squirts of ketchup and BBQ sauce to give it some more flavor. I also added a bay leaf. If you're going to let this simmer for a while, I'd suggest waiting to add the potatoes until an hour or so before serving b/c I let mine cook on low all afternoon and most of the potatoes had disintigrated. But it was still a very hearty and delicious stew. The meat was so tender!

Carnation® Quiche Lorraine

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2003
Outstanding! Even my husband, who turned up his nose when I told him what we were having, ate 2 big pieces! I also lowered the fat by using turkey bacon, evaporated skim milk, and egg beaters. I also only used 1 1/4 cup of swiss cheese since it was all I had. I added 2 chopped plum tomates that made it just delicious!

This recipe was very easy and very tasty. I used a different brand of pesto and it came out really juicy, tender, and flavorful. Will definitely make this again!

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2003
Very tasty! Same recipe that is on the Lipton Onion Soup mix! Only complaint is that the pan was hard to clean afterwards, so I would suggest lining the pan with aluminum foil to make for an quick and easy clean up.

Old Bay® Grilled Lime Tuna Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2003
This was a good marinade and made the tuna taste good. My only concern is that it seemed a little too salty. I think I would decrease the Old Bay a little bit and maybe add a little bit of water to the marinade. My husband, an Old Bay fanatic, LOVED this recipe!

Hot German Potato Salad III

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2003
So tasty! My husband gobbled it up and said it tasted almost exactly like his grandmothers! The only changes I made was that I used red potatoes and left the skin on and cut them up into bite sized pieces before boiling them. This sped up cooking time and gave the dish a great taste. I also only used 6 potatoes since some reviews said more dressing was needed so I just used less potatoes. I would highly recommend this dish if you love vinegar and are looking for a great side dish! Fantastic!

Cranberry Apple Pie I

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2003
Very tasty! I would recommend either having two pie shells ready or making the remainder of the filling into a cobbler. I just put the remainder of the filling in a cake pan and used the topping and popped it into the oven with the pie and it was just delicious! I'd make this recipe again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2003
I was not that impressed by this recipe. I was expecting something wonderful from all the reviews but was disapointed to find out they were just regular chocolate chip cookies. They tasted fine and my husband ate them up, but he does that with any cookie. I think I prefer the Betty Crocker or Nestle Tollhouse recipes to this one.
