Wienerschnitzel

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
This has to be the best Wienerschnitzel I have ever made! I used thin boneless Pork Chops and pounded them until I could read through them and followed the recipe exactly -Putting the breaded chops in the fridge is a must for the coating to stay put-I put the cooked chops in a 190 degree oven to stay warm and made a sauce using another poster's idea-I used mushrooms and shallots and cognac and when they were soft I added a tbs of flour and cooked it out and added whole milk to make a sauce-I salted and peppered it and it was fabulous! Well worth the extra steps but even the kids enjoyed it-The pork came out moist and tender -This recipe I will be making again-Next time for company

Lawry's® Balsamic Steak Salad with Blueberry Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
Saw this recipe and decided to make it for July 4th dinner-Very festive and did not heat up the kitchen-The only addition I made was adding chopped pecans to the salad and they made it over the top!

Hash Brown and Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2011
Made this for breakfast this morning and it was a home run! The changes I made was to pre bake the hashbrowns for 30 minutes in a greased 9 by 12 baking dish and added 8 eggs and heavy cream instead of milk but the rest of the recipe was the same. The only thing I would add is Cream gravy because it was a little dry in the middle but everyone was very happy with this dish

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
Very tasty recipe-I did not have lasagna noodles so I spread the cheese mixture on top of curly pasta and made the pasta into a casserole but the cheese mixture was delicious and used my homemade sauce-Even the kids ate it!

Blueberry Scones

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
Good recipe but a little on the non-sweet side -I added a tsp of grated lemon and used frozen mixed berries but I served this with the Devonshire Cream recipe and they were wonderful-Be prepared for the dough to be on the soft side but they baked perfectly

Easy Devonshire Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
This is pure decadence to eat and very addictive-I made this recipe to go with scones but I am searching the house to see what next I can put this cream on-I added 1 extra tbs of sugar and that made this cream perfect-You need to make this!
