About this Cook
I am a stay at home mother of 4 amazing little girls. They are my reason for my obsession with cooking. They love helping mommy cook pretty much everything and are great at it. My family is very seafood obsessed. My children would rather eat seafood over candy anyday. We love everything about the New England states and spend as much time there as possible. I collect everything and anything to do with lighthouses. We spend a large chunk of our summer going to yard sales in seach of them :) I am also very old fashion. I don't like to party like many my age and prefer to spend time with my family. I belive if family was the center of everyones life we would be a much happier society.
My favorite things to cook
Seafood of course, southern and my hubby uses any excuse to BBQ
My favorite family cooking traditions

My cooking triumphs
My special meatloaf and glazed chicken wings. I can't make them for any large groups without people begging me for the recipes
My cooking tragedies
My first Thanksgiving I invited the whole family over and tried to make a turkey. I forgot to thaw it before cooking it and while it looked cooked on the outside it was frozen inside. I was horrified and we ended up having to eat the tofu turkey my mother-in-law, a vegetarian, brought
