Cheesecake Brownies

REALLY delicious and so easy! Perfect to take to pot-luck type function. Followed recipe exactly, but put 2/3 of brownie batter in pan, followed by cream cheese mixture, followed by remaining brownie batter, and then swirled together.

DELICIOUS!!!!!!! Who knew mayo would be such a great addition - though you'd never know it was in there....my family wouldn't have eaten it if they'd known! (Didn't add salt.)

Lemon-Cream Cheese Cupcakes

Good flavor exactly as written. Not fantastic, but really good. Only "change" I made was to add a little zest to the frosting and a little more to decorate on top. Made mini-cupcakes. (Recipe made 36 minis; baked for 12-13 minutes in case anyone is interested.)

Basic Crepes

This is a VERY EASY and successful recipe! My usual recipe requires the batter to "rest" for an hour in the fridge and I didn't have time for that. This one is ready immediately and cooked evenly and beautifully in the crepe pan. It is also the FIRST time I didn't have to throw out the first crepe or two because the first one cooked so beautifully! This will absolutely be my first choice crepe recipe from now on! (I used the EXACT ingredients, but mixed all wet ingredients and salt first, then gradually added the flour last) In the future, I will add sugar to the batter since I always make crepes for dessert and sweet ingredients.

Three Berry Pie

Absolutely perfect pie filling!!! *note -- I did not use the crust recipe -- I used rolled crusts due to time constraints. Followed the recipe for the total amount of fruit, but used a different mixture of berries based on what I had, also including 2 small peaches. The ratios of fruit, sugar, and cornstarch were right on. Not the least bit liquidy like others complained: be sure to bake it until it's bubbling fully, and that you cool completely before cutting. Making a lattice top crust shows the berries beautifully !

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

I made this exactly as written -- I gave it a 4, and not a 5, because the au jus left over at the end was not to our liking; it was a bit thin, and a little too wine-flavored. I turned it into a gravy, and with this extra thickening, the flavor of the wine was toned down deliciously.

Chef John's Lemon Bars

These are fantastic! I love how the lemon layer somehow forms a bit of a crust on top. It allows a dusting of powdered sugar to stay on top, and not soak in, as has happened with every other lemon bar I've ever made! The shortbread crust is just perfect. I doubled the recipe and baked it in a 9x13 pan, because a small pan is never enough :) (**next time I will add a bit more lemon and lemon zest because I love very tart citrus flavor, but they're delicious as written)
