Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
This was delicious!!!! Not only was it super easy to make but it tasted soooo good!!! I had some left over Heavenly Ham which added so much more flavor to the soup since I glazed it when I first made it. I also added some carrots to the mix and used 2% milk instead of whole. When I was ready to serve the soup, I added some shredded cheddar cheese to the top and it was perfect! This will be my go-to soup whenever I have left over ham.

Spicy Italian Pork Cutlets

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
I made this last night and it was amazing!!! I used a can of diced tomato instead and served over thin spaghetti. I also like to add some onion and more chicken broth to the mix to enhance the texture and increase the amount of sauce.

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
I made this for dinner last week and it was delicious!! I made a few changes to the recipe - made my own Alfredo Sauce from this website and also did not use the mushrooms. It had just enough heat for my liking but I always serve red pepper flakes with any pasta dish I make for my future hubby. He tends to like things extra hot and spicy.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
LOVEDDD this recipe!! I tweaked the recipe just a bit - I did not add bacon bits. I also did not use 2 cans of diced tomatoes. I only used one and also used a 28oz can of tomato puree to loosen up the chili. It was perfect after simmering for 2 hours. This will be my "go to" chili for now on.

Banana Cake X

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
I've made this cake a few times and it is soooo delicious!!! I increased the amount of bananas because I love cakes with a rich banana flavor and used store bought chocolate icing because I didn't have time to make my own. I also top it with crushed walnuts. This cake is moist and one of the best recipes I've ever gotten from this site. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Enjoy :)

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
I made this cake for a girlfriend of mine who has stomach problems and cannot have gluten. I made it exactly how the recipe says to and it was delicious!! I put the mix in mini muffin molds and they were like little brownie bites. I even made a whipped cream cheese frosting to put on top and it was even better!! I recommend this recipe for anyone who is looking for a simple easy to make cake!

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
This was my first attempt at making soda bread and I ended up making 2 loaves and everyone at work loved it!!! I also added about a 1/2 cup of raisins to each mix and let them sit about 30 mins before baking. Will definitely make this every year going forward!

Dripping Roast Beef Sandwiches with Melted Provolone

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
My husband and I loved this! It was quick and easy to make. I cut up some additional raw onions and sauteed them with a little olive oil and Worcestershire sauce and then I added the onion soup and simmered it for a little longer. Along with some of the other reviews, I melted the cheese first and then topped it with my roastbeef and banana peppers.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2011
I thought this was an easy to do weeknight dinner - it will definitely be added to the rotation. Next time I don't think I'll use as much bread crumb since my chicken breasts were sliced thin to begin with. The added crumb topping was too much for my liking.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
I followed the recipe to the T and the only thing I would change is the cooking time. 7 hours was wayyyy too long. I also spiced the roast with onion & garlic powder, black pepper and red pepper flakes to give it a kick. Other than the meat being over cooked, it had a good flavor. I would make it again and probably cut an hour off of the cooking time.

Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage and Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2013
This was a good soup that was really easy to make. I also did not have any fresh tomatoes so I used a large can of diced. I also added more chicken broth and white wine since I like more of a broth. Bought some sourdough bread to go along with it and topped with some romano cheese. Definitely a quick and easy dinner that my husband and I enjoyed.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
I made this last night and it was tasty. I added more chicken broth and wine since we like a good amount of sauce with macaroni. I also spiced it up with some red pepper flakes. It's a quick and easy meal to make.

The Best Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
These meatballs were moist and tasty. I did, however, change a one thing: Instead of putting the garlic in the meatball mixture, I put it in the oil as I fried the them - as found within another review. I think next time, I'll add it to the mixture instead since I think mine were lacking the garlic taste. I would also use less breadcrumbs and add more romano cheese. Next time with these modifications, I think they will be delicious!

Chocolate Sandwich Cookies II

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
I only gave this 3 stars because the cream cheese filling kind of ruined it for me. I think it would work better with a peanut butter filling instead. The cookies alone were amazing - I couldn't find low calorie cake mix so I used two boxes of Duncan Hinz Devils Food cake mix instead and it was delicious! I will make it with peanut butter next time and let you all know how it came out!

I don't know what happened but this turned out not to my liking. I followed the instructions to a T and it was a complete fail.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
Ughhh I will not be making these again. I followed the recipe and upped the milk to 1 cup and added a teaspoon of vanilla extract like some over reviews suggested and they tasted soo blahhh...there's no flavor to them at all. I was expecting them to be sweet and delicious just as they look in the picture but they were far from it. I quote my fiance, "it tastes like dense white bread with chocolate chips". Moving on to another choc chip muffin recipe...
