Mushroom Soup Without Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2004
This soup is very tasty. I use a vegetable broth or stock. It is the perfect vegetarian soup. I tried it pureed and not. I can't decide which I like better. Last time I made it, I pureed about half then mixed it with the other. Yummy!

Reuben Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2003
I love this recipe, but I turn it upside down. I spray the casserole dish with "pam," and then spread the corned beef first(i've even used worthington's vegetarian corned beef.) then, i layer with the sauerkraut and salad dressing mixture. top that with plenty of swiss cheese. then top it with cubed rye bread, that has either been buttered, or sprayed with "pam." when the rye bread topping is toasted, the casserole is done. great solution for those who did not like the soggy bread at the bottom.

Squash Stuffing

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2002
I skipped one little word-- "cover"-- and it didn't work right. Make sure you cover the dish before baking!! Otherwise it will take forever for the squash, onions (and my added celery) to the cook. Overall it is a tasty but very rich dish. It might be too rich for kids. Next time I will cut back on the cheese. This is going to be a wonderful sidedish at the holidays!

Apple-Cran-Cherry Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2002
Very tasty. I like that there are no eggs in the recipe. The cookies cooked up nicely, a little cake-y, but delicious.

Mississippi Tea Cakes

Perfect! Just like my mom's recipe. She cooks without measuring so she couldn't give me the recipe over the phone. She said she'd just have to "show me." Found this recipe and it is the best! Thanks.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

They are indeed the peanut butteriest! I've made them twice in the past month. They freeze well if you like to freeze food for the holidays!
