Make Ahead Toffee Bars

This recipe is delicious and so easy! I didn't use the walnuts, but that's all I changed and it was wonderful. The smell had my husband begging for them straight out of the oven.

Make Ahead Cookie Mix

This dough is DELICIOUS! It is so quick, and it tastes great straight out of the bowl. I used it as the base for the make ahead toffee bars. Exactly what I was looking for to give as holiday gifts! Thank you, Lynn.

Baked Salmon II

My husband gaved this recipe an A+. Throughout the meal and after, he couldn't stop talking about how flavorful it was. Served it with sides of rice and lima beans. I cooked the salmon for 30 minutes and it was perfect. I also used the aluminum foil baking method (I think the steaming makes it more tender) and, as another reader suggested, I added a couple of thin lemon slices to the top of each filet. Delicious and so simple!

Garbanzo Stir-Fry

Though my husband loved this dish, I thought the oregano and basil overpowered it. He also said there was a little something missing, so when re-heating it we added pepperoni and salt.

Black Bean and Corn Salad II

My husband LOVED this recipe. It's healthy and it smells delicious. Serve with cold grilled chicken and tortilla chips. Wonderful for a picnic or potluck!

Green Salsa

I was looking for a green salsa to put on chicken burritos and this salsa was perfect. I had to use canned tomatillos because I couldn't find fresh but it was still delicious and even better the next day! I would recomment adding 1 or 2 teaspoons of kosher salt. A great recipe and easy too. Thank you!

French Baguettes

I made this bread as one large loaf and used it as the base for French bread pizza. My husband and I ate almost the entire loaf in one sitting! It is a great bread, and turns out much better coming out of the oven than the bread machine. Delicious!

New Duchess Spice Cake with Maple Buttercream Frosting

I increased the spices by about 1/2 teaspoon each on this recipe and added a teaspoon of ginger and it was great, though maybe a bit dry. Tasted better (and moister) the next day. As for the frosting, I made it but tossed it out and used a butter-based caramel frosting recipe. It's just a matter of preference, but I thought the shortening in the frosting tasted greasy.
