Simple Swiss Chard

Delicious! I used the colorful stalks, and they tasted fine. I would suggest reducing the balsamic vinegar, as it was a little bit sour. An alternate solution is to add 1 tbsp+1 tsp brown sugar to the swiss chard after adding the balsamic vinegar. For extra flavor, add a dash each of lemon pepper, pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt. Feeling adventurous? Add a couple pinches lavender flowers!

Easy Swedish Pancakes

I reduced the recipe so that it made one pancake and fried it in a small pan with a smidgen of butter. Delicious!

Irish Tea Cake

My family absolutely adores this recipe! Every time we have an occasion, we make this cake. We make a delicious berry sauce to go with it - just raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, "43" licquor, and sugar. It's to die for, especially when served with BlueBell Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Yum! Thanks, Cindy!

Spring Lime Tea Cookies

These are sweet, dainty little cookies with a sweet-tart lime glaze. I love the zest in the glaze. My sister and I made the cookies and everybody begged for more. I suggest a double batch. Put enough glazing on to cover the whole cookie, we couldn't get enough. I suggest making the cookie with a bigger circumference - - say, three inches or more. These "Monster" cookies can hold more glaze. (And, who doesn't want a big cookie?)
