Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Made this lasagna, it was the bomb. I added the nutmeg, 1 egg and spinach to the cottage cheese, it was so good! I had some other various cheeses already in the fridge, so I mixed some of that into my mozza, I will definately make this again.

Kale, Quinoa, and Avocado Salad with Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette

Not a fan! Not sure why we didnt like it. The dressing had a very heavy Dijon taste, which I am not a fan of. I thought with the mix of lemon etc in there I would like it. I ended up adding honey to the dressing to combat the dijon, still not a fan. Its too bad, I was very excited about this recipe!

Bourbon-Mango Pulled Pork

Wow, this is the best pulled pork recipe I have ever had! My guests and hubby agree! The only changes I made, was I used Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar, only becuase I didnt have the regular in the house ( I plan to use regular next time though) and did about a quarter of a TSP. less of the Chipotle powder. I will be making this throughout the summer!

Old School Mac n' Cheese

There are two reasons I am rating this 4/5. First, it was a TON of work. 2nd, I'm more of a fan of the dryer mac and cheese recipes. I took it to a potluck and everyone was raving about how much they loved it, the flavor and the recipe itself is great.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

I tried this on a whole salmon filet. I followed the recpie exactly and it was amazing! Only thing I changed was the cook time to ensure my filet was cooked through. I servied it with asparagus and curry rice. My guests loved it and kept going back for more! I will definately make this again! Gives such a wonderful flavor without being over-powering.

Slow Simmer Beef Stew

This recipe was fantastic! I made it according to the recipe for a ski weekend with another couple. It was perfect! Everyone loved it! I have been struggling to find a stew that doesn't taste boring or rather plain and this is it!!

Seminary Muffins

The only thing I changed in this recipe was using pecans instead of walnuts, due to a serious allergy, and I used whole wheat flour. It was my first time using whole wheat flour so I dont know if it changes the texture. The flavor was awesome, I just found them a little heavy...I must be doing something wrong. I will make them again though. For all of you who said they were amazing, did you mix the first bunch of ingredients with a mixer? I did not, but mabye i shoudl have. Any comments or tips welcome!

Bacon Water Chestnut Wraps

My family and friends love this recipe! I find it alot easier to wrap the chesnuts in uncooked bacon, then pour sauce on top and put in the toaster oven. Works like a charm.

Creamy Potato Leek Soup II

This recipe is awesome! My entire family loves it! First time I made it, I made it according to the recipe, fantastic! Afterwards, since I like leaving my soup to sit overnight, I dont put in the potoatos until later. I add a little flour to thicken the soup. If I have a turkey or chicken carcass , I boil that for a few hours with some chicken broth. I remove the bones and add the chicken to the soup. Its amazing and makes it very hearty. I usually only go for about 1/2-3/4 of the bacon the recipe calls for, I find too much bacon can sometimes take over.
