Banana Crumb Muffins

Excellent! Moist and yummy! I added "Score bits" to the batter, and it was awesome, but the recipe is great as is.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2013
Yummy rice pudding! I've use my mother's recipe for years, but this one was easier and really delicious! I made a batch with Quinoa that turned out amazing too (straight substitution for the rice). It needed an extra few minutes to cook, but was sweet with the nutty flavour of the quinoa. Fantastic!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: May 7, 2012
Awesome as is! To kick it up a notch, once it was cooled and laid out on the wax paper, I drizzled chocolate (sparingly) over it. It looked beautiful and tasted even better! Bake sale sell-out for sure!

Challah I

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2012
A PERFECT Challah! Everyone RAVES about it every Friday night. I make a strudel topping (instead of poppy seeds) by mixing one teaspoon of melted margarine with 2 tsp of flour and 3 tsp of white sugar. Mix it until it is a crumble consistency and sprinkle it on just before popping into the oven. YUM!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread I

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
Really Yummy! I substituted the sour cream and the buttermilk for plain yogurt (2/3 cup in total). I also used 4 Bananas (just to get rid of them). It was moist and delicious, but was in the oven for about 50 minutes to bake through.

Moist Holiday Honeycake

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2013
Moist and delicious, as promised! It was gobbled up! I did cut down the white sugar to 1 cup, and I used amaretto instead of whiskey. It added a yummy almond flavour that came trough nicely. This one will be a favourite for the new year for years to come!
