My favorite things to cook
I actually like all kinds of food and experimenting with recipes. I have acquired a New Wave oven which I am getting a kick out of. Amazing all the things to do with chicken.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Unfortunately I only have a few recipes of my mother's and grandmother's. I have created a cabbage soup almost as good as theirs. Passed it on to my daughter as well.
My cooking triumphs
Actually won a cooking contest back in grammar school for chicken cacciatore.
My cooking tragedies
While in the restaurant business I actually cooked a boneless piece of beef thinking it was boneless leg of lamb. Maybe it wasn't so much a tragedy as I got raves on how "tender and great" the lamb was.
