Real Chiles Rellenos

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
Great recipe! Don't pass this up because of the length of the ingredient list (you will have most of them in your cupboard) or the length of instructions. They are just very detailed so the recipe is fool proof. Not that it isn't time consuming; I will be taking the advice to make the peppers ahead of time and freezing them to cut down on prep time the day of. Worth the effort!

Sausage Gravy III

A little more flour and a little less milk made it thicker for my taste. So good, and only having one pan to clean up made it even better!

Buffalo Chicken Wings I

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
So good! Next time I will make more of the sauce though, it just barely covered the 16 wings that I made.

Amazing Spicy Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2011
My new favorite meal! I halved the recipe for my husband and me, and we ate every shrimp! Left out the sesame oil and just used olive oil. I will probably use the marinade next time I make any seafood for the grill, it was just the perfect amount of spice.

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2011
You need several pots and pans for this one, but it is so worth it! Used a bit less mushroom, but made everything else exactly as written. Reheats well the next day, if you manage to not eat the whole casserole at once!

Cheesy Creamed Spinach

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
So good! My husband said it was his new favorite side dish. If you don't have heavy cream available, I would just suggest adding an equal amount of flour to the butter to make a roux, then add milk or half and half instead of the cream. Turns out just as delicious!

Beef Tips

Added less water, a tsp. of cornstarch to thicken, and 1/2 cup of sour cream right before it was served, per someone's suggestion. Tasty!
