Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
I used this as a last minute recipe.. I generally am no good at making bread, but I was making soup and really wanted some. All I had was boring ol' white flour, and (don't laugh) I used maple syrup because I didn't have any honey. Scaled this down to 2/3 the actual recipe, and make rolls in cupcake pans. It actually worked! And my bread is good. :) Thanks!

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
This recipe was super simple, and super easy to downsize for one person. I didn't cook the fish for a full 30 minutes (I'm assuming the cook-time is shorter for a smaller amount of fish), but other than that, I really didn't change anything. It was exactly what I have been craving! Thanks for the recipe!

Onesy-Twosy Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
I am not sure what I did wrong.. I think I am just not at all good at baking, haha. But the cookies, after being put in the oven, melted out and into each other, and off the sides of the pan. I managed to rescue most of them, and even though they look weird and really made my oven a mess, they STILL taste really good. So that rules.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2010
The world's pickiest husband chose this recipe, AND is eating the left overs! It's nearly magical! :) It really is delicious. Totally worth the effort. We used all dried herbs, to bring the price down a little bit. We also took some tips from other reviews...soaking the noodles, instead of boiling them, to give it a little bit more form, and we threw in a splash of Mad Housewife red wine! It was a delicious, classy meal that I am DEFINITELY keeping on file, to feed my picky husband!
