Easy Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2013
I've made pork loin a few times over the years and I've tried a different recipe each time. This one was by far our favorite. Everything from the smell of it cooking to the taste of the finished product is just delicious. I used a 3.5lb pork loin roast and just increased the cooking time to an hour and half. I also didn't have honey dijon mustard, I had honey mustard and I had dijon mustard so I just mixed equal parts of both. It was tender and juicy. I will definitely make this one again.

Golden Sweet Cornbread

I made the recipe exactly as written with the exception that I made muffins instead of a a 9 inch cake. They are delicious. I will be making these again very soon.

Chicken Chimichangas with Sour Cream Sauce

Amazing! Very time consuming but so worth it. I didn't change anything. I made it just as the recipe called for.

One of the best fish recipes I've tried. My husband is not usually a big fish eater but he loved these.

Pesto Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
I make turkey burgers all the time and usually I just add whatever I feel like adding. These were the best I've had so far. The pesto and cheese gave so much flavor. They were moist and delicious. Thank you for the recipe!

Peanut Butter Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
This was a little too good. I ate a big piece the day I made it and then found myself picking at the left overs all the next day. The peanut butter was a perfect addition to this cake.

Barbecued Beef Brisket

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
This came out so tender. I was intimidated by brisket because I had been told that they can be tricky to cook. I just cooked it low and slow all day and it came out perfect. Thanks for the recipe!

Feta and Bacon Stuffed Chicken with Onion Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
This was a great dinner!!!! Yes, it has too much fat but i'm rating based on how good it was NOT on how much fat is in it. I don't like it when people give bad ratings because something has too much fat.

Greek Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
It was good but I wish there would have been more of a sauce for the pasta. My husband loved it.

Spinach Basil Pesto

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
I will never buy jarred sauce again! So much flavor in this recipe. The spinach and lemon added an extra element to basic pesto. Loved it! I might make extra next time just to freeze. Pesto is always a good thing to have on hand.

I made this recipe when my husband was on one of his health kicks. It was very good and such a nice change of pace from regular baked chicken.

Tres Leches Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
This is the best tres leches recipe I've tried so far. I did take some advice from previous posts though. I added a little confectioners sugar to the whipping cream. Normally you would top this cake with either cherries or berries. My husband doesn't like berries very much so I put sliced banana between the cake and whipped cream. It came out great.

Korean Marinade

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
I followed the recipe exactly and it came out fantastic. I live in an apartment and so I don't have an outdoor grill. I pounded the chicken thin and then used my George Foreman grill. My husband loved it and it's nice to have something else to do with plain chicken.

My husband said that he wouldn't mind making this a once a week dinner. It's simple, flavorful and goes with pretty much any side dish.

Curtido (El Salvadoran Cabbage Salad)

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2011
This was excellent with fish tacos but it makes me wish we had a place around here to get pupusas. I don't know how to make them and I have a feeling it's one of those things that looks easier than it really is.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2011
This is by far my favorite bread recipe yet. I've made it at least a dozen times and my family loves it. I have not tried it with the full amount of sugar so far. I use 1/3 cup and it's a perfect amount for "dinner bread". If I were going to make breakfast rolls or something like that I might use the full amount.

Kielbasa Skillet Stew

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Excellent recipe that you can play around with to suit your taste. I took some other peoples advice and tweeked it to my liking. I used black beans and northern beans, I used red bell pepper instead of green and I added a couple dashes of liquid smoke. I topped it with the bacon and cheddar cheese. I can't wait to make this one again so I can try some other ideas.
