Cranberry Sauce
This is a good "base" recipe that you can play around with to your liking in terms of sweetness, texture, etc. I took other reviewers' tips and adjusted the recipe as follows: I used half as much sugar as the recipe calls for and used both brown and white sugar. I also used half water half OJ because as one reviewer mentioned, too much OJ will take away from the cranberry's tart flavor. I also added a sache of cloves and removed it after I simmered saucefor about 20-30 minutes. I like mine smooth with a few cranberry lumps.

Cranberry Orange Relish with Orange Flavored Liqueur
I have only made this once but I thought it was really yummy. It also has a beautiful color and it's soo easy to make. The orange flavor was too strong for my BF but liked it quite a bit. I will be interested to see what it tastes like tomorrow after it's had a chance to "marinate" in the fridge. I only used 3/4 cup sugar b/c I don't like things too sweet.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies
Agree with all the reviewers, these are great cookies. Just like the ginger snaps you know and love but with a slightly chewy texture. I made a few changes as follows: - 1/2 cup brown sugar - 1/2 a cup white sugar - chilled the dough in the fridge for about 20 minutes - Used butter instead of margarine (never use the fake stuff!) - Substituted water for OJ as suggested - Did not roll cookies in sugar Not sure how some of the bakers got that gorgeous cracked look, tho...any suggestions?
