Carrot Cake III

This is a wonderful moist cake, I only added 1 more tsp of vanilla and put 3/4 oil and 1/2 applesauce and added 1/2 tsp nutmeg. I used walnuts (1 cup), coconut (1 cup), and Rasins (3/4 cup). I was so good next time I will try it without coconut and use your recommended pecans!! I baked in a 9x13 pan carrots were finely grated and drained very well. After 43 minutes in the oven, I put it straight in the freezer for 20-30min to make moist. This is the only recipe I have gave five stars. We all may make a few changes to it but the Base of the recipe is YOURS! and without it, my cake would not have been this great! Thank you

Lemon Bundt Cake

I did this recipie as stated I did have to cook longer about 55 minutes, and it came out great and moist, I used Sprite. Does not taste like a box cake. I will use this recipe over and over again and thanks so much for sharing it!

Kentucky Butter Cake

First of all I made this cake twice the frist time mixng the way described and it did not rise. Second time mixing butter and sugar first then adding eggs. Made according to recipe and it was SALTY! SALTY! So today I have thrown two Kentucky Butter Cakes in the trash along with the recipe. Thanks anyway

Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

First of all I went exactly by recipie. Cake was way too sweet! I am not sure if the other reviewers noticed but it says 1 TABLEspoon of vanilla which equals to about 3 teaspoons! Cake was a weird texture and somewhat dry compared to the pound cakes I have made without cream cheese. Sorry to say cake went in the trash after 4 people tasting.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Wonderful tasting cake, took some of the other reivewers advice and used french vanilla cake mix (loved the flavor!) added whole pint of blueberries, which was way too much for me, also used 1/2 cup margarine in place of oil, then added two tablespoons of oil for moistness. Did not put any sugar, and was sweet enough. Will make again for sure, thanks .

10 Pound Cheesecake

Cheesecake set up fine, the problem was I could taste the condensed milk, recipie calls for 1 (12 oz) Whip cream. Containers came in 8oz or 16oz. I used about 10 so I am not sure if that was the cause, but no one really liked it including myself. So we just tossed it.
