Creamy White Wine Sauce

When I first tried making this, I followed the recipe as is, and thought it was good, but not great. When I made it enough and finally got comfortable with it, I started to add some other ingredients to it. I first caramelized some garlic in a couple tablespoons of butter and a drizzle of olive oil. Then I added the wine and the heavy cream and let the wine reduce. I also added a little bit of chicken stock, and some dried herbs, and thought that it came out wonderfully with the additions. Very simple yet delectable sauce. Will be making this again. I love wine sauce.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

This recipe is very DELICIOUS..... this is the first time that i've ever had chicken florentine, and i must say that it is very impressive. I followed someo f the suggestions. I sauteed fresh spinach, garlic, and mushroom in butter, and added a splash of white wine... I put that mixture on the bottom of the baking pan. After I cooked and crumbled the bacon, I browned the chicken in the bacon grease. I cooked it in the oven at 350 for about 20 minutes, then i took it out, put on the layer of mozzarella and cooked it until it turned golden brown, another 10 minutes. Very delicious and the boys definitely loved it. I served it over pasta with garlic bread. I will definitely put this recipe into my recipe collection.

Chicken Marsala

I've never had chicken marsala before but heard from a few people that it is a great tasting dish. So I decided to try it. Had most of the ingredients on hand, and it was quick and easy. I followed some of the suggestions that were made; such as adding garlic and onions to the dish and I thought that it made a great addition. Great tasty dish.

Mom's Country Gravy

This isn't bad....however I did tweak it a bit to adjust to my flavors. According to the adjustments, I would rate it an extra star. I prefer my gravy to have more of a bold flavor. What I did was brown the sausage (do not drain because the fat adds flavor), and then proceed to follow the recipe....very good with some biscuits and eggs for sure.

Chinese Chicken Salad III

Very Very good dressing. The peanut butter really did the trick. Tastes just like restaurant quality. Easy to make, and very delicious..... thumbs up.
