Amish White Bread
So easy and it turned out perfectly. I did cut the sugar in almost half because I wanted a fluffier bread and it was just right. I actually made colored bread by mixing all the liquids according to the directions, dividing it into thirds, adding food coloring to each, then adding the 1/3 of the flour to each bowl and following the directions for each batch. At the dividing in half step after the first rise kneaded each batch a little, rolled into a rope, braided the 3 ropes, and then cut it in half and divided into 2 pans. Next time I would cover the bread lightly with foil about halfway through to prevent some browning so the colors would show through better. This special bread will be used for communion and it's hard to find a recipe that's not too crumbly, but this one works just right.

Blueberry Buckle
I love this recipe! I've used it for a couple years and it's great every time without changes. Recently I've been looking for some low-fat options so I tried it out with one of my favorite recipes. I replaced the shortening and the butter with low-fat vanilla yogurt. It made the topping a little less crumbly when putting it on, but no different once baked. It was yummy once again and close to guiltfree!

Quick Black Forest Cake
This is hands down a great recipe! We have used it for 4 years for our church dinner theater and I just pass the recipes out to the cake bakers and the all 25 cakes come back perfect! It's almost fool proof! We wanted to change our dessert this year, but with 4 of use looking couldn't find a better recipe! It tastes great, is so easy, and when put on a plate drizzled with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, a cherry and a wedge of chocoate, it looks and tastes like heaven. If you're looking for an easy recipe, but still want it to be something special- look no further! We do mix the mix according to its directions (including the oil), then add all the goodies, rather than just using eggs.
