Spinach Muenster Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2013
This was DELICIOUS. I used about half the spinach, added an egg, and reduced the cheese down to around 10oz. I also threw in some fresh sautéed mushrooms. So I did make some modifications, but the base recipe is glorious!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2013
I wish I had read the suggestions before starting this recipe, but overall it was still good mainly as-is. It's definitely a good not-too-sweet recipe, which I like better than the really sugary and nutty banana breads. I do think it would have been better with more spices; I added a bit of cinnamon and looking at what the other reviewers suggested, I think I should have gone with my gut and tossed in some more spices. But it's an excellent base recipe to use when experimenting, and it was very moist. I made muffins with half and a pie plate of bread with the other half and it all came out very nicely.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2013
I made this and made a few of the suggested changes: added sauteed onions and mushrooms to the gravy; browned on the stove and then baked for the rest of the time; doubled the gravy except the ketchup and added cream of mushroom soup (around one can). I used the Lipton Beef Onion soup instead of French onion (only because it's all I had at the time). They were delicious and were great as leftovers too. I'll be using this (modified) recipe as my go-to for salisbury steaks going forward. Who knew they were this easy?

Roasted Potatoes with Greens

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2012
I really liked these! The flavor was subtle and delicious. I would definitely recommend doubling the butter mixture though. I had to add some extra oil so it would cover all the potatoes. I'll probably up the rosemary next time too. Overall though, easy and delicious!

Parmesan Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2012
I liked these a lot, but I would add more sage to the breading. I used thick boneless chops for this recipe and baked them for about 30 minutes after browning, and I used fresh parmesan.

Apple Pecan Cobbler

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2012
I really liked this recipe! I reduced the sugar by a small amount and mixed everything together at the end. It came out really good, and the other reviewers who have mentioned a cake like consistency are right. most cobblers are just dustings of flour, sugar, cinnamon etc over fruit but this one has a nice cake-meets-cobbler consistency. Loved it!

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2012
I just added a pinch of salt since some of the reviews said it was too salty. These were AMAZING. To be fair, I didn't measure anything so I don't know what the proportions are like following it exactly, but I tried to get it about right (I had no measuring tools). Perfect amount of zest and creaminess!

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
These were AMAZING. I didn't add any water, I just added a few splashes of broth (maybe a half cup or more). I cooked them covered and didn't need to baste with sauce at all, they came out perfect.

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
LOVED this recipe. I added more shredded parmesan than the recipe called for, just personal taste.
