Easy Pea Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2013
It's a good base for pea salad, but I have always put minced ham or bacon in mine, and I use mayonnaise if adding sugar or use miracle whip, and I always use chopped peanuts in mine alone with chopped egg along with the ingredients already listed, and always use frozen thawed peas. They taste so fresh, but, like I said, it's a very good base to start pea salad.

This is an all around great margarita. We use this recipe at the pub I work in for about 12 years now and its foolproof. I add many things like the first poster said to change it up a bit.Very versatile to use. I make it double strength for home and freeze it and make a shush to add to more limeade. I love to add some fresh mint as well, and I zest an orange and add that as well. Skies the limit with this one. You can definately make it your own.

Pear Honey

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
I made this with some pears I had frozen from last fall. Very delicious. I loved it. I make pear honey with a similar recipe, and this one is just as good as the other I've used for years. thanks

Pumpkin Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
I made applesauce this morning and decided since the canning supplies were out to make pumpkin butter. This is my first time making it. I used this recipe and used pumpkin pie spice instead of the other individual ones, and I only had apple cider, so used that instead of juice. I, instead of sugar used Agave nector and a little splenda brown sugar to save those precious carbs. It's fantastic! Just delicious. I'll make this again and again. Making some more next week for christmas baskets. Thanks so much. sue

Kidney Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
Great salad I remember from childhood. I omitted the relish and added a few tspns dried cranberries, and a chunk of granny smith apple chopped and a couple tablespoons toasted pine nuts. Delicious.
