Corn Dogs

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2014
Great! I placed the batter in the fridge for about 10 minutes. Batter seemed a little thick but it worked out great. No drippy messes like the others I have tried. This ones a keeper!

Country Apple Dumplings

Absolutely wonderful! I did change the sugar to 1/2 white and 1/2 brown. The trick to this recipe to keep it from sogging too much is to melt the butter then mix in the sugars...cook the butter and sugar mixture until its almost a paste...about 5 minute constantly stirring. Then add the cinnamon. I also baked for about 5-7 minutes longer to insure not too much sogginess. Absolutely wonderful!

Sweet and Crunchy Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2013
I used Yakisoba noodles (same as ramen noodles but they were the only ones I had). and added a package of broccoli slaw for crunch. Absolutely delish! My family was very skeptical but everyone loved it. I did NOT soak the noodles as I had about 4 hours before the party started and they softened perfectly. Actually, the longer this salad sits the better it gets!!! A new go to for family parties. (BTW..I omitted the cashews and used shaved almonds for crunch and they were great).

Vinegar Cookies

Very good and very versitile. I agree with others comments..add a little more flour or they are just way too runny. You can add ANYTHING to these. I made a batch per the directions and they were great..some with a 1/2 tsp of Almond extract and another batch with chocolate chips...You cannot go wrong with this recipe!
