I express my love for people through cooking. It's one of my biggest passions in life, and can always cheer me up if I am feeling blue. I believe in living a healthy lifestyle, but not always being a stickler on everything. If i go to a birthday party, well then dammit, i'm going to have birthday cake. =)
My favorite things to cook
Anything Super spicy. Southern inspired dishes. Combining textures, colors and contrasting falvors for a full bodied and complimentary meal. I am pescatarian so I cook a LOT of vegetarian & seafood, but still LOVE cooking for my meat eating family and friends.
Breakfast is the most versatile meal of the day and my favorite to cook!
i LOVE using mint leaves, cream cheese, wine, lemon zest, serrano peppers, spiced rum, feta cheese, blueberries or sun dried tomatoes to randomly add zing into some of my favorite recipes.
Rosemary is also my fav. herb of all time. =)
