Mediterranean Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: May 31, 2012
DELICOUS! I was making this as a side dish so I didnt add chicken pieces. I also didnt have bouillon cubes so I cut the water in half and used 1c of chicken stock from the can. Turned out wonderful, the next day I had a bit of left overs and sauted some sausage threw it together and was a great 2nd time around meal! Ive already recommended it several times!

Janet's Famous Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: May 31, 2012
Thank you for posting this recipe! I love it and use it faithfully. I preferr more banana in mine, and guava paste as well, you should try it! Sometimes when I need to make this I find I am out of a few things, but yogurt is a good sub for sourcream and when I am out of baking powder I just add an extra banana or sour cream (sometimes both!) also I recently started blending this recipe with another one from this site. My kids love it :) http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chocolate-Banana-Bread/Detail.aspx?event8=1&prop24=SR_Title&e11=chocolate%20banana%20bread&e8=Quick%20Search&event10=1&e7=Home%20Page&soid=sr_results_p1i1

Lazygirl's Ground Turkey Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 31, 2012
I was originally looking for a recipe using ground chicken and came across this. So instead of using the ground turkey, I used what I was intending to use: ground chicken. I also used whole wheat penne pasta (thats all I had on hand). I think if I thought of how watery chicken is I would have cut some the liquid ingredience in half but all in all this meal was pretty good and VERY easy! I followed the reviews on adding sour cream and I also didnt have a bouillon I used 3/4 can of chicken stock, and added fresh chopped garlic as well as some itailin seasonings. I will definitely make this again with another meat choice and if I use ground chicken then Ill cut the liquid in half it was too watery for me with the chicken.

Yummy Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
I rated this five stars because I made it for an appetizer for Thanksgiving 2011 and it was a big hit for a family of 50+ people. I thought it was very easy to make, as well as easy to customize for the next time I make it.

Broccoli and Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
This was great! I only rated 4 instead of 5 because I think the reciepe should call for the broccoli to be diced into small piece, it ended up being more like broccoli with melted cheese ontop. So next time to make it more "dip like" Ill probably use a food processor for the bacon and broccoli or something of that sort. But the taste of this recipe was WONDERFUL!! I dont have any left overs! Also this goes great in a bread bowl

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
If this thing had a 10 star rating I'd do it! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this receipe! I've used a trillion times with a different twist each time. Mostly its just a different spice or two.. last time we put the potatoes in a tin foil pan on the grill for about 15 minutes and it was soooo delicious! I would recommend this reciepe to anyone because its perfect with just about any meal in any season.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
This meal was really good! I followed it mostly the same. I didnt have fresh parsely, so had used dried parsley, and I didnt have heavy cream so I had to sub. with melted butter milk and flour. It turned out great though. I think next time I will experiment with the turkey sausage someone suggested. I only rated it 4 stars because it felt like something was missing.. so Im going to be experimenting with this a bit. BUT my tomato hating husband cleaned his plate so that says something! :)
