Beefy Cheesy Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
I will give it 4 stars. Yes it is like a hamburger helper but on being in college with minumum funds its not that bad. I modified it. 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 onion 2 cloves garlic. Used 1/8 cup soy and 1/8 cup worchester sauce pepper and garlic powder and cayenne (i used a good portion of cayenne) I cooked on box (1 lb) of the mini ziti and set it aside. In pot i boiled the pasta in put heat on low added a combination of heavy cream and milk a little more than suggested (eyeball the consistency) 2 tablespoons butter 1 cup shredded mexican or nacho cheese/ 3 slice medium cheddar and 2 tablespoons of the la victoria medium cilantro salsa. It's pretty good not knowing what to have for dinner

Enjoyed this very much added more curry a little red pepper. I seasoned the chicken while I cooked it and had it over rice with cilantro to top it off. Will be cooking it again.

German Baby

This is a very good recipe base but i have to admit that it is a little bland. I added vanilla a little sugar and a dash of cinnamon and it was so good. The timing and the rest of the recipe i followed. Great recipe!

Best Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
This is a good recipe. Did it exactly as recipe says except substituted with ROTEL...what I don't understand is people giving low stars but yet they make all these changes to the recipe...brown rice, etc. By the way recipe say to cook onions on med. for about 5 minutes it doesn't say you have to. And as with alot of recipes when you brown or toast the rice first then you add the liquid. It doesn't have to be hot liquid and then adding the rice. I just get really annoyed when people change up recipes and then low star it It ridiculous. Great recipe

Kim's Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
Have made this recipe 3 times now and everytime with rave reviews. The only thing I do is one jalapeno not two because hubby can't handle it. I would never add any other veggies to this recipe its not that kind of recipe. Its a hawaiian mac salad. Not a veggie salad, not a mac salad with mustard like my mother use to make (yuck) 5 stars for the hawaiian mac salad that reminds me of the islands and the plate lunch/loco mocos :)

Spinach Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
This is a good recipe. I went to a gathering and I also did a mold and it was cute (can't specify what the mold was but it would be seen at bachelorette parties) My mother loved it and has asked for the recipe. I used nuts only in specific areas of the mold and parsley in other areas. I will definitely make this agian...probably not in the mold though
