Banana Crumb Muffins
About this Cook
I am young and busy, so I don't know much about cooking and really don't have much time to do it. However, I really enjoy baking and when I have some extra time I will often bake treats for my family. I am doing my best to learn to be a better cook. This site has helped me a lot! So, thank you!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking and making anything sweet: cookies, brownies, muffins, cake, you name it! I also love learning how to make my cooking more healthy. When it comes to meals, I love to find recipes that quick and easy, yet delicious!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother is from Norway and she would make the most delicious Norwegian pancakes. She has since passed away, but now my mom continues on the tradition. Usually about once a week she makes these sweet, crepe-like pancakes for "pancake night".
My cooking triumphs
Everyone loves when I make my desserts. Watching other people enjoy the food I make is always a triumph for me.
My cooking tragedies
Oh, I've had so many! One time, I made a Yorkshire pudding that was flat, dense and tasted terrible. Let me just say this, never forget the eggs!

Zucchini Brownies
I followed the recipe exactly, but chose to opt out on the frosting. My family thought these were good, but I wasn't very impressed. The texture of the brownies was excellent, but I found them to be a bit too bitter and not quite sweet enough. I prefer regular brownies. When it comes to zucchini treats, I think I'd rather have zucchinni bread.

Banana Crumb Muffins
These are fabulous! I had a lot of ripe bananas, so I decided to double the recipe (I added 5 very small bananas and one large). I used half all-purpose flour and half whole wheat flour for an excellent taste and texture. I also took the suggestion from previous reviewers and used oil instead of melted butter. They turned out fluffy and moist and the crumb top was delicious. My family liked these even though they are not usually huge banana fans. My dad especially liked them with grape jelly! I will definitely keep this recipe.

Creamy Kiwi Sandwich
This was delicious! I used lemon juice instead of lemon zest and did not refrigerate over night, but it turned out great. This is one of my new favorites for a quick, tasty breakfast.
