Strawberry Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
Excellent recipe, most of all the ingredients you already have in your pantry. I had to use a little less crumb topping and a little less strawberries due to the size pan I had but it still came out amazing. The juice from the strawberries really locks in mositure to the cake!!

Cornbread Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
I'm going to rate this even tough I altered the ingredients. So based upon my alternations I think this is awesome. I added a pie crust to the bottom for a real pie feel. Also switched from can to frozen mixed veggies instead of just corn. Also I will def add more seasonings next time this was very bland. But easy and very nice looking!

Carrot Cupcakes with White Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
I followed this recipe almost exactly. The only difference was that I doubled the recipe. And because the recipe called for a 1/2 cup oil already I didn't want to use 1 cup so I used 1/2 cup oil and they kept together just fine and tasted wonderful!! Everyone thought they were bakery bought!! The frosting makes a ton too so you could totally cut back on some of the ingredients as well.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
I need to explain this review, as is this recipe is really just okay in my opinion. I think it has like many others have mentioned way to much butter. Not enough curry or cayenne pepper. And it just was a little bit disappointing because it sounds so heavenly, the ingredients are good they just need to be altered. 2 tbsps butter, 1/4 cup curry before ( you knock this add it in gradually as it cooks trust me it comes out perfect) and i sprinkled the entire sheet with cayenne pepper. And 8 diced green onions. And after it was done I added 2 diced jalepenos (I don't like soggy jalenpenos, and this keeps it milder for those who don't like it to hot) After all that it comes up to a top notch marinade!!!

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
I followed the recipe like one of the previous reviews had suggested and the sauce came out really creamy. The only thing I did different was add crushed red pepper flakes because we love spicy carbonara. Very good!

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly as written. And than made some additional changes. But the recipe as written is very good too. I just like our meat a little spicier so I added a lot more chili pepper to it and also added some root beer for the extra sweet kick. So tender so juicy. Def something worth making again! UPDATED: It is almost impossible to mess this up. Have fun with it I would say you could totally spice it up and with that sweet touch it makes it soooooooo yummy!

Frosted Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2010
I thought this recipe was delightful. It gives the pumpkin flavor with a sweet kick to it. An alternative to pumpkin pie which is a major plus for me someone who loves pumpkin. Also I have a houseful of picky men who ALL LOVED these!! Made my own frosting which was awesome touch because I added cinnamon to it which I love as well with pumpkin.
