I read all the reviews and I admit I was nervous to try it for the first time on Thanksgiving Day itself! However, I used my common sense when I added the broth...I didn't add all 4 1/2 c at once. I stirred it in, and since I was in the kitchen all day, I checked it (and stirred in more broth) often. I was using packaged dry bread cubes and I'm sure I wound up using at least 4 1/2 cups of broth, if not a little more. I had a 6 cup box of broth and used almost all, but not all of it. Now that I know how the broth part works, I'll just add a lot more at the beginning to save having to add more as the day goes on. As for the rest of the recipe, the seasoning was perfect and nobody seemed to miss the "baked inside the turkey" taste. I'll be making this again on Christmas and probably next Thanksgiving, too--I put the seasonings in a tupperware the night ahead and chopped the veggies, and putting it all together the next morning was so easy, it felt like cheating!
