Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Very good and easy, these went fast. I ended up running out of mini reeses and filled the last six with dark chocolate pieces. I think I liked those even better than the reeses ones!

Ida's Lemon Mousse

This recipe really didn't work out at all. First, the jello part took overnight to set enough for me to add the whipped cream, the finished result was soft and didn't hold its shape at all like a proper mousse would, and the taste was tangy to the point of being bitter. I was looking for a light citrus dessert with a bright flavor, and was sorely disappointed. Won't be making this again.

Soft Chocolate Cookies

Very good, soft and moist and chewy with a rich chocolate taste. Would probably work well with mint chips or nuts.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

This worked well, a moist and flavorful peanut butter cookie, though they did spread a bit more than anticipated. Next time I'll probably halve the size of the cookie.

Golden Rum Cake

This was delicious, but I'm pretty sure every slice had at least a shot of rum in it. The liquor didn't really burn off, which made for a strong rum flavor and a higher alcohol content than expected.

Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake by EAGLE BRAND®

This came out awesome. I doubled the glaze and put about a third of the apple slices on the crust before pouring in the filling. But other than that I stuck to the recipe and it was delicious. Also, the crust came out perfect.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

These came out very good but very rich, though that might be because I used a chocolate cake mix instead of vanilla. Freezing the dough overnight and using mini-chocolate chips made the dough work well in the cupcake, though I think I'd like more cupcake and less cookie dough next time. I might try playing around with the size of the dough and the cooking times. We'll see how that works.

Caramel Shortbread Squares

While good in concept, this recipe didn't quite work out for me. I read the reviews and followed their advice, but the cookie came out extremely crumbly and would not hold together. Part of the problem was the force needed to cut the caramel, even with a heated knife, crushed the delicate shortbread. I only managed 3 cuts per heating before the knife destroyed the cookie with the force needed, and even the ones that cut would fall apart half the time when I picked them up to transfer to the tray. I might try this again with a different cookie recipe, one that is a little less delicate, because the caramel came out very good, and I bet it would have worked out well if the base had held together.

Fruit Pizza I

Delicious and simple to make, I will definitely be making this recipe again. I made mine with raspberries, blackberries and blueberries, with some mini chocolate chips for a little extra sweetness. Came out perfect.

These are a bit time consuming and I have no idea how you are supposed to make 30 out of one batch, but they came out alright. I personally would have prefered a dough that wasn't quite so bland, and I can think of many other desserts I would rather make instead, so I think I'll pass on this one in the future.

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

Very good, but very very very rich. The word fudge is very appropriate in describing the cheesecake as it had a similar density. Excellent taste, but be sure to cut the pieces small.

Very good. I doubled the peanut butter and used mini peanut butter cups, but those were the only changes I made and it came out great. I brought it to work and I think someone may have licked the pie plate clean.

Chocolate Wafer Crust

I ended up using only about half the butter because I had double-stuffed oreos on hand for the cookie part. I came out excellent, not too rich or hard and it worked great with the peanut butter pie filling I made.

Michelle's Peanut Butter Marbled Brownies

Good recipe, got a lot of favorable comments, but I wasn't really happy with how the marbling of the peanut butter came out. The mix was too thick to get it to look right, next time I'll just layer the brownies.

Very good recipe, but the proportions of filling to shells seems a little off. I ended up making a double batch of shells for a single batch of filling. Also, don't forget to poke holes in the shells when they come out, and make sure they are cooked all the way through for the best texture.

Strawberry Pie II

This came out very very good. It tasted so fresh and fruity, not like jam at all. I did put closer to 2/3 the strawberries in whole rather than half, so that might have had something to do with it. I also coated the crust in dark chocolate to stop it from getting soggy. That was great, just a bit of chocolate goes really well, though it did make the crust a bit hard to cut through. Still, I would make this again.
