I LOVE this recipe and I've been using it since I got married a few years ago. Both my husband and I hate beans in chili, so this was perfect. I've modified it a little just because of personal preference. I usually at least double the recipe to allow for leftovers. I leave out the cumin and vinegar, and I slice a jalapeno in half and throw it in the pot while the chili is simmering, pulling it out just before I serve it (whether I leave the seeds in or not depends on how spicy I want it to be). I also tend to use an Italian seasoning mix instead of straight oregano. Yum!
