Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

DELISH! I doubled teh recipe and made it exactly as directed. Only thing I did different was to take cover off after baking broiled the top to brown the crumbs. I actually made this for my daughter & son in law (they recently had a baby and thought I'd bring lunch/dinner) but I snuck a spoonful before wrapping it up. Thanks for sharing this, I'll definitely make it again!

Lentil and Sausage Soup

I made this tonight it was excellent! I did make a few changes, I cooked it only for 1 1/2 hours, added fresh spinach, a giant can of fat free chicken broth (48 oz), and 4 cups of water in place of the stated amounts. Also used crushed tomatoes instead of diced. Lastly, I added a little red pepper and very little salt, I didn't have oregon so I skipped that. Even my picky husband loved this! Thanks for sharing!

Grandmother's Carrot Casserole

Sorry but I didn't like these at all... the mayo and sugar combo was too much for me and they were very sweet with 1/2 cup of sugar. I would recommend cutting the sugar in half.

Barley and Mushrooms with Beans

I thought I would like this better than I did. I followed the recipe pretty much exact and I found it a bit bland. I think I will try it again and read some of the other reviews for variations. Thanks for sharing!

English Baked Potatoes

Excellent! My mom (who was from England) used to make a variation of these when I was a kid. I recommend cooking just a little longer per side for a really crunchy wedge! Thanks!

Spicy Beef Curry Stew for the Slow Cooker

OMG, we LOVED this! I used 1 1/2 lbs of stew meat, 4 cloves of garlic and a can of tomatoes with chilies instead of the jalapeno pepper. Cooked on high in the crock pot for 7 hours and served it over white rice. PERFECT!

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

WOW! This was by far the best soup I ever tasted! I am eating bites inbetween typing this review... I made it almost exact except that I did use a large can of diced petite cut tomatoes, and I added a whole container of beef broth (think it was almost 6 cups). I made the soup last night for tonight's dinner and took others advice by waiting to add the tortellini in as needed. Fabulous, thanks so much for this recipe it will be made again for sure and soon!

Black Bean, Corn, and Tomato Salad with Feta Cheese

I served this salad at a Memorial Day party and it was a hit, I had several people ask for the recipe. I made it exactly the way the recipe is written except I cut the oil in half. Will definitely make it again! Oh, and as for the Jicama, I had never heard of it but am now a fan, although you really do only need a small one for this recipe. Thanks!

Taco Salad II

I made this for a 4th of July party today and it was a HIT! Unfortunately, I made this recipe about a year ago but accidentally gave another recipe the credit and my 5 star review. Sorry about that!! I added green onions but no onions or peppers. I also mixed iceburg and romaine (didn't have enough iceburg). Also used Catalina dressing Thanks for the recipe!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

This was DELISH! I made it pretty much according to the original recipe although I didn't have enough worcestershire sauce and like others I reduced the amount of salt. I marinated mine on the skewers with red peppers, mushrooms, and chopped onions for about 4 hours. Will definitely make it again.... maybe add a little garlic next time?

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe
