Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2005
I made this recipe for Christmas brunch this morning and it was delicious! Although it overcooked at the bottom a bit (due to fact that I had to cook it along with a ham at the same time on the bottom shelf) everone loved it. I used 6 eggs instead of 4, and a bit more sausage. I will make again when this recipe can be center stage in the center of my electric oven!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

I followed the recipe exactly and it was fabulous! Definitely a weekend recipe, my husband couldn't believe it took that long to cook a 4 lb chicken but admitted it was well worth the wait! Will definitely make again.

Lemon Square Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2006
OH MY! I made these today and they are fantastic! There's a bakery at Chicago O'Hare airport that has the BEST lemon bars ever I've ever tasted. I get one every time I pass through. I must say, these give the bakery version a definite run for the money! Thanks for sharing..... Oh, I also used 4 lemons... perfect tartness!

English Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2006
Excellent! My mom (who was from England) used to make a variation of these when I was a kid. I recommend cooking just a little longer per side for a really crunchy wedge! Thanks!

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
My husband and I really enjoyed this. I made it to the letter but next time will add more garlic and a little less milk. (felt it was a little too runny). All in all, a great recipe!

Quick and Easy Home Fries

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2006
These were very tasty! The only thing is that they didn't come out as crispy as I would have liked, but I may have done something wrong. Will definitely try again!

Pork Chops with Apple Curry Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2007
This recipe was very good! I took into consideration others saying the chops were overcooked and after browning cooked the pork chops at 350 for 35 minutes, they came out perfect... nice and tender. I served them over basmati rice... delicious, picky husband even liked them.

I made this for my husband and his friends for a Patriot's tailgate party and he told me everyone loved it and asked for the recipe! That is quite a compliment because these guys take their tailgating very serious!!

Grandmother's Carrot Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
Sorry but I didn't like these at all... the mayo and sugar combo was too much for me and they were very sweet with 1/2 cup of sugar. I would recommend cutting the sugar in half.

Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
This was my very first attempt at fondue and it was very good! I followed the directions exactly and had no problem with separation or the cheese not melting. I did grate the cheese very finely so maybe that helped. I will say that unless you're a swiss cheese lover, this may not be for you. Thanks for the great recipe!

Taco Salad II

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
I made this for a 4th of July party today and it was a HIT! Unfortunately, I made this recipe about a year ago but accidentally gave another recipe the credit and my 5 star review. Sorry about that!! I added green onions but no onions or peppers. I also mixed iceburg and romaine (didn't have enough iceburg). Also used Catalina dressing Thanks for the recipe!
