Lentil and Sausage Soup

I made this tonight it was excellent! I did make a few changes, I cooked it only for 1 1/2 hours, added fresh spinach, a giant can of fat free chicken broth (48 oz), and 4 cups of water in place of the stated amounts. Also used crushed tomatoes instead of diced. Lastly, I added a little red pepper and very little salt, I didn't have oregon so I skipped that. Even my picky husband loved this! Thanks for sharing!

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

These were fabulous! I scaled the recipe to 6 servings and roasted the garlic before adding it to the potatoes. Will definitely make these again, thank you!

Barley and Mushrooms with Beans

I thought I would like this better than I did. I followed the recipe pretty much exact and I found it a bit bland. I think I will try it again and read some of the other reviews for variations. Thanks for sharing!

I have made this once a week for about the last 6 weeks! Only change is I add a whole jar (16oz) of salsa and a large jar of tomato sauce. I've already shared this with several friends! Thanks so much for sharing it.

Taco Salad II

I made this for a 4th of July party today and it was a HIT! Unfortunately, I made this recipe about a year ago but accidentally gave another recipe the credit and my 5 star review. Sorry about that!! I added green onions but no onions or peppers. I also mixed iceburg and romaine (didn't have enough iceburg). Also used Catalina dressing Thanks for the recipe!

Cheese Fondue

This was my very first attempt at fondue and it was very good! I followed the directions exactly and had no problem with separation or the cheese not melting. I did grate the cheese very finely so maybe that helped. I will say that unless you're a swiss cheese lover, this may not be for you. Thanks for the great recipe!

Grandmother's Carrot Casserole

Sorry but I didn't like these at all... the mayo and sugar combo was too much for me and they were very sweet with 1/2 cup of sugar. I would recommend cutting the sugar in half.
