These came out so yummy! I am an amateur baker and used gluten free flour (cup 4 cup brand) and I had no problems with this recipe. I read through several reviews first which were very helpful. I chilled the dough as directed, then cut it into 4 parts. I worked with 1/4 of the dough at a time. The dough was actually a little dry straight from the fridge, but this could be because of the GF flour. It rolled out fairly easily and even easier on the second roll. No sticking at all. I doubled the vanilla as suggested by other reviewers but other than that, I made the recipe as written. I had salted butter so I didn't add any extra salt;the recipe doesn't specify. This recipe is tasty enough to eat plain, but also good with icing. After all, decorating cookies is the best part!
