Chef John's Sausage & Shrimp Jambalaya

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2012
I love this recipe. The only thing I had to modify was the amount of Cheyenne by reducing it. The original recipe was delicious just extra spicy for my taste. The brown rice worked well with the other ingredients, creating a great texture. I would love to to try this recipe with okra in it. Love Chef John's recipes. :)

added egg noodles to give it more substance. It was OK but very easy to make.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
Very good! I didn't have the white wine on hand so i just added a 1/4 cup of extra chicken broth. My whole family loved it. It was pretty easy to throw together, the part that took the longest was chopping garlic and peeling the shrimp. If you buy the shrimp already peeled this meal is super quick and easy to make.

Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
Yummy! The creamy sauce is so good and the chicken is very tender it melts in your mouth. I served this with rice and biscuts. Not the healthiest meal but it sure is good.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
This was an awesome lasagna recipe. I love the taste of the meat sauce, the sugar and sweet saucage make a great combo. I didn't have fresh parsley or basil so I ended up using dried spices and it still ended up being delicious! This also makes a lot of lasagna. It fed my family of 3 for 2 1/2 days.
