Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: May 20, 2012
Tastes great! Only difference is that I used 1 pound of shrimp instead of 2 pounds...but still used the same amount of marinade.

Greek Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
Tasted good! I would add more tomatoes next time. I would add the kalamata olives because I didn't this time. I also used more feta cheese than the recipe called for. Instead of adding the pasta to the mixture, I just put how much I wanted on top of my own serving of pasta. I think that there was not enough of the mixture to blend with the amount of pasta the recipe called for.

EAGLE BRAND® Chocolate Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
So simple, yet so delicious. Everyone that I have served this to really likes it. Just watch out for burning the chocolate chips at first when they are melting. Also, keep the heat on after everything is melted because otherwise the chocolate will start to get thicker! YUM! :)

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
This chili is so good! The consistency is just right...it's not too watery and not too thick. Only thing I should have done differently: I used tomato sauce with green chiles and it came out too hot. However, when I use regular tomato sauce next time, I think the flavor will really come out well.

Foolproof Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
It is simple to make and does taste good, but not excellent. I made the dark chocolate version that uses marshmallows and it was good, but not the best. I also tried a batch with Andes mints melted in...I don't recommend that because it surprisingly did not taste good. I may try to make this fudge again, but will just try the regular version without marshmallows.

Black-Eyed Pea Gumbo

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
I made this today, to celebrate New Years Day. It tasted great! I did not add any meat, but I think that adding meat would make the recipe excellent.

Healthy Turkey Loaf

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2010
I had 1.3 pounds of meat, so I used double the ingredients plus a little more. I cooked this for about 1 hr. and 10 minutes, although it was cooked through within 1 hour. This is definitely healthy and tastes great dipped in ketchup...I felt that it was a little bland, so I think next time I would add ketchup into the mixture. However, everyone else that ate it thought it was great the way it was!

Chicken Biscuit Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
This tasted absolutely delicious and is actually somewhat simple-this is coming from someone in the process of developing cooking skills. :) I did add fresh carrots instead of frozen and will not use frozen peas next time. Also, I added more milk to the biscuit mix because it was not very moist. After cooking the suggested length of time, I turned the oven down to 350 and cooked until the biscuits were cooked through. Overall, this dish tasted wonderful...and I look forward to making it in the winter months by adding potatoes and garlic seasoning.
