Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

I'm am SO addicted to these cookies. I did notice that the brand of chocolate makes a difference. I used Ghirardelli semi sweet and Trader Joe's Swiss milk chocolate the first time and they were awesome. I used the grocery brand the next time and my cousin asked me if I changed the recipe. She said they were better the first time. I've also tried them without the walnuts and they were delicious.

I submitted this recipe originally. It was supposed to be 1 1/2 teaspoons not tablespoons.

Scrumptious Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2003
They were delicious! Everyone at my Thanksgiving dinner loved them. I used 1/3 cup of brown sugar insteand of 2/3 cup of white sugar in the potatoes. I also used butter instead of margarine for the topping and cubed the butter into 1/4" squares.I baked it for 20 minutes then added marshmallows on top and baked until the marshmallows browned (about 5-7 minutes)

Chicken And Apple Curry

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2002
I thought the recipe was very good but felt it was missing a little something. I added and changed a few things the second time around and the recipe came out great. Instead of using 8 breasts, I cut up 2 in 1" cubes. I used granny smith apples and cut those into 1/2" cubes. I coated the cubed breasts with 1 tbs of corrander. I cooked everything in a large saute pot instead of baking . Then I replaced 1/2 a cup of the milk with coconut milk. It was delicious!

Coffee Liqueur Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2001
This was the best recipe for bread pudding! I've made it a few times and added extra goodies. I used 16 oz of french bread instead of 8. I found 8 to be a bit too soggy. I used twice as many pecans and added some rasins. I think I may cut back a bit on the Kaluah next time. I also reheated the leftovers in a toaster oven instead of the microwave. It kept the toping crisp.
