Potato Bread III

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
Very dense texture as other reviewers have said, but I did only add part of the yeast so that could be why. The bread turns out very moist and isn't too crumbly which I love.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
Yummy! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I altered the recipe a bit after reading other reviews. I only put in half of the sugar that the recipe called for. I wanted to ensure I tasted the rhubarb. It worked. Putting in less sugar gave the perfect the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors. This recipe is a keeper!

Cranberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2011
Mine looked beautiful, but were a slightly overdone. Turn down the heat a little or only cook them for between 15-17 min, I cooked mine for 19 minutes and they seem a little dry. I used the average size muffin tins, so maybe 20 minutes is ideal for a larger muffin tin.

Delicious! I didn't have onions or bouillon so I added an envelope of Lipton Onion Soup mix instead of the onion and bouillon. I also added 3/4 c. of tomato juice and about 1/2 of homemade salsa I had left over in my fridge. This was so yummy. The cilantro is what makes it, so make sure you add it fresh at the end. Yum! This is the 1st 5 Star rating I've ever given something on all recipes. It exceeded my expectations!

Rice Balls a la Tim

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
This is a very delicious and creative recipe, but it did need to be spiced up just a bit for my tastes. I added onion salt, season all, and then added seasonal and dry italian seasoning to the bred crumbs I dipped the balls into. I also had to cook the meatballs for longer to get them as crispy as I liked. Yet, what a fun and delicious recipe Queenbee28! Thanks for sharing!

Kraut Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
I love sour krout, but this was still a little odd for me. I halved the amount of cream cheese and the texture was good, but the krout was too strong of a flavor for me. I needs something sweet or spicy to balance out the strong krout flavor.

Vanilla Wafer Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
Deee-licious! These don't taste like vanilla wafers, but are delicious, chewy sugar cookies! I cooked them for a minute or two less than directed and they turned out perfectly.

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
These were delicious, but still a bit drier than I would like. The batter was so similar to brownie batter, but without some of the moistness of brownies. I would like to find a recipe with a chewier, softer texture. Anyone have a way to moisten this batter up a bit?
