Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2013
This was a pretty good recipe! I omitted the veg oil, chicken broth, and thyme. I used half a can of beer in place of the chicken broth. I also added 2 tbspns of hot sauce and a 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Cooked on low for around 8 hours. A lot of reviews I read said there was a lot of sauce, and while there was a good amount, it was really tasty. Def worth a try and I think it would be good for serving a large number of people.

I wasn't a fan. Tasted very bland and processed.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Pretty good recipe for a soup that's a little different. Made the recipe exactly as stated and it turned out great. This will be a great dish for football or having friends over for bonfires.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2013
Very moist and flavorful. Only changes I made were to use margarine instead of butter because it's all I had. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla and a handful of chocolate chips. Delicious!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2013
Loved this recipe! Followed pretty exactly with the exception of cooking time and adding in sautéed onion, mushrooms, and garlic to the sauce. Delicious! Oh, also switched the portion of milk and wine. Had a really good flavor.

Smashed Cauliflower

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2013
Great recipe! I ended up boiling in beef broth, then drained. While draining, I used a masher to get all of the liquid out. After that, I followed the recipe minus the butter, and subbed onion and chive cream cheese. Beat with a mixer. Delicious and a huge hit! Sorta satisfies that mashed potato texture, but is very flavorful. Thanks for the recipe!

Balsamic Marinated Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
What an excellent recipe! I made this tonight for my boyfriend and it was a complete success! The only thing I did different was to only use 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar, use italian seasoning in place of the oregano, rosemary, and parsley, added fresh garlic, and a splash of OJ. Let marinate overnight, and cooked at 350 for about 30-35 minutes. The chicken was wonderfully moist, and so tasty. My bf remarked he could taste many different flavors in the chicken as well. I will definitely be making this again! Thank you for the recipe!
