It's a good recipe, but I realized that I didn't really need directions for making horchata. I tried this five times, until I decided that going by taste rather than measurement is a better way to make horchata. First, I made a larger serving size than stated. Second, I ground the rice enough to make it into tiny flakes. I also added cinnamon sticks into the blender. I poured the rice and water mixture into a bowl and left it in the fridge for a day. Drained the water and added the rest. I definitely added way more milk than suggested. Added 1 and 1/2 tbl of vanilla extract and sugar to taste. My family loved it! I noticed the longer the water stands, the better it tastes!
