Marinated Baked Pork Chops
This was a hit! My boyfriend said they were the best pork chops I've ever made! I doubled the recipe for a serving of six chops. I marinated both sides of the chops for about an hours. I followed another's suggestion and added sliced onions. Covered in foil for 30mins. Removed from oven and drained the extra juice. Turned chops over, added more sauce and baked uncovered for 30 mins. These chops were tender and juicy!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake
This was my first time making a cheesecake, let alone a pumpkin cheesecake. It came out sensational! My bf and I can't stop eating it. I bought the puree but used pumpkin spice instead of buying spices separately. It made the process easier. I didn't have time to make my own crust, so I bought a prepared crust baking pan. Still came out great. You definitely need to set the cream cheese at room temperature. 30 minutes wasn't enough time for the pie to bake fully. I left mine in the oven for 45 minutes. Very tasty. Will be making this for thanksgiving!

Lola's Horchata
It's a good recipe, but I realized that I didn't really need directions for making horchata. I tried this five times, until I decided that going by taste rather than measurement is a better way to make horchata. First, I made a larger serving size than stated. Second, I ground the rice enough to make it into tiny flakes. I also added cinnamon sticks into the blender. I poured the rice and water mixture into a bowl and left it in the fridge for a day. Drained the water and added the rest. I definitely added way more milk than suggested. Added 1 and 1/2 tbl of vanilla extract and sugar to taste. My family loved it! I noticed the longer the water stands, the better it tastes!
