I made this bread about three weeks ago, and it turned out great, even though I did not follow the directions correctly. Syd is right: you simply cannot make a bad bread with this recipe...very forgiving, I know :)....now I am off to make another batch.

Cheese Soup with Broccoli

I made a few subs: used swiss cheese, boiled broccoli, low fat milk, no celery and vegetable broth. I, otherwise, followed the recipe as written, and it was very easy to follow instructions and the soup turned out great. I had a bowl, and it does taste a lot like Panera's. I will definitely make this soup again, and again, and again :). Thanks for sharing!

Basic Corn Muffins

I give these muffins 5 stars based on the simplicity of the recipe and the taste. I added about 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, and I have used sour cream with great success. I also bake at 375 and my muffins are usually moist with great flavor. I make these often and the recipe has earned a permanent place in my recipe box. Thanks for sharing.

Coconut Oatmeal Cookies I

I have made these cookies twice, and they are simply delicious! I, however, amended the recipe every so slightly: I used 1/4 cup of organic shortening and 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, 1/4 cup of white sugar and a TB of brown sugar. I also used old fashioned oats, and added a dash of nutmeg, cinnamon and 1/4 ts of cream of tartar. My cookies were chewy in the middle, and crispy around the edges, and I indulged way more than I should have, so I will have to limit these cookies to when I have company over :)

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

I made this dish yesterday --- my first time hosting a Thanksgiving dinner, so I was nervous and running out of time 0_0. I threw the ingredients together at the last minute and it was a HUGE hit. I couldn't find the velveeta cheese, nor did I have vinegar in the house so the Mac and ccheese was made without it but again it was very tasty, cheesy and most importantly, crunchy. It was also my first time making baked macaroni and cheese. I wish I could give this recipe 10 stars!!!!! Thanks so much Maria for sharing your recipe.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are the best that I've ever tasted. I modified the recipe by adding cinnamon and nutmeg, and those spices made my cookies a bit sweet. The next time I bake them, I will keep the spices, but cut back on the sugar. The cookies turned out crunchy, and moist in the center. I wish that I could give more than 5 stars :)
