About this Cook
Im a Veterans wife! I love my life, and I love the people in it. The good Lord has blessed me with nothing more than what I could ever want.
My favorite things to cook
I love to try cooking EVERYTHING. I may not like to taste it all, but that's where my husband comes in! Lol.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We are a southern family, obviously, being from Texas and all. We usually cook fried foods, but every now and again you can catch us cooking something out of the ordinary. Me especially.
My cooking triumphs
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but here lately anything I try cooking, its been pretty darn good!
My cooking tragedies
When my husband and I first got married, I remember making him a Blackberry Pie one time. Oh my gosh it was the worst thing I have ever cooked in my life! I did everything correct except the amount of sugar I was supposed to put in it, I don't like Blackberry Pie so I didn't try it. When my husband got home and dinner was done, I asked him to eat a piece. I made two of them, he tasted it and he got such a sour look on his face and lied to me about how good it was! Lol. Its so funny now, but back then it wasn't too funny. I was so upset I remember calling my momma and crying my eyes out! Lol.

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies
They were so good, but they were crumbly. Wish I knew how to make it more firm so they didnt crumble up so easily.

Snickerdoodles IV
I have never made these before, just always bought them at the grocery market, they are so delicious! Great for picnics too, which is where my husband and I ate ours!
