Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2014
This recipe is EXCELLENT! It's a family favorite. I think that 8.5oz. box of bread mix is a bit vague, as it tastes best with something like the Jiffy Brand Corn Muffin Mix (available in that size box for under a dollar, usually). Anyway, this recipe is quick, easy, fun, tasty, and a keeper for the ages... reminds me of grandma.

Plain and Simple Sourdough Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2014
I make this exact bread every single week, and it doesn't last longer than it takes it to cool. It works PERFECT every time, and when my family comes over, they always kindly ask if I made it. It's the closest thing to San Francisco Sourdough as I've ever had (y'know besides in SF). THANK YOU for this recipe. :)I wish I could give more stars.

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
So easy! I used Applesauce instead of Oil or Butter, and I omitted one of the egg yolks (gotta save calories somewhere). I used Pillsbury Funfetti Cake (sprinkles pre-mixed into the dry mix), and it worked PERFECTLY!!!! I baked at a high altitude, and therefore, 9 minutes and 15 seconds was the perfect time. Thank you! I will be making this again and again... SO many options!!!! Carrot cake and cream cheese frosting cookies?! Um... yes, please!

Dark Rye Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2012
Great Bread. It's lightly sweet with a tiny taste of caraway, perfect. I think it is the best bread I've made from AR thus far. But a reminder to those wanting a big, fluffy loaf, rye bread is a dense bread. But seriously, it is sooo good.

Kettle Corn

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2012
I love this recipe! I use it all the time. In fact, I just did, and as usual, it turned out perfectly. The key is to make sure that sugar doesn't burn! I usually finish mine off with a shake of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little salt. It's great!

Mock Caprese Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2012
SO delicious!!! I don't even miss the Mozarella. For a slightly creamier texture with less "bite," low fat cottage cheese is great too. It's wonderful! Thank you. I will make this again and again.

Biscotti

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2012
Just made this for the first time ever, biscotti, that is. It turned out GREAT! I scaled the recipe down with the calculator, and used almond extract instead of anise (for I hate the taste of anise, fennel, and licorice with a firey passion). It's a very versatile recipe (i.e. chopped nuts and dried fruits can be added if one chooses). Also, doing an egg or milk wash over the dough makes it prettier, but that step isn't totally necessary. All in all, I will probably use this as a base for all my future biscotti endeavors.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2012
Great recipe. Made this last night, and it turned out perfectly. I only added a little vanilla, because I always do that. Perfectly crusty outside, and perfectly pillow soft on the inside. Thank you! I will make this again and again.

Coconut Meringues

Reviewed: May 14, 2012
This is a great recipe! I will make it again and again! I took the advice of fellow reviewers and reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup, because I was using sweetened coconut. I also added 3 drops of blue food coloring to make them more cloud-like. I did have to bake them for an additional 10 minutes, but I am working with a new oven. All in all, fluffy, adorable, and VERY low cal. Thanks again!

Toasty Egg Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 2, 2012
This is probably one of my earliest memory, comfort food sandwiches. At my house, we used Miracle Whip, but other than that, this is pretty much the ONLY way my mommy could get me to ingest American Cheese (though I still prefer a sharp cheddar). So good. From ages 2-102, you will LOVE IT! If you're 103, add ham :)

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
My soon-to-be mother-in-law makes this for all our major holiday get-togethers, and it is FANTASTIC. It's so sweet and so decadent, one doesn't need to save room for pumpkin pie. I bet this would even be good with a dollop of Cool Whip on top and served as dessert!

Easy Grape Salad

A Total Hit! at Thanksgiving. All I did was use less almonds as topping. Little kids have a thing about crunchy-fluffy-sweet stuff. If it is just adults, please rock this recipe as is.

Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2012
I made this with splenda and used cooking spray instead of added oil, but didn't change anything else. It smelled so good while marinating and cooking and tasted even better. Thanks for this! I will DEFINITELY do this again.

Portuguese Sweet Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2012
I really enjoyed this bread while it was baking. The smell was absolutely lovely. I did add a tsp of vanilla, because I do that with most all my breads. It did sink a bit in the middle, but not too bad. That is why I only gave it four stars.

So good! I took the advice of others and came up with an oatmeal-cinnamon-sugar flavored cake. So great topped with syrup, honey, or jelly. I tried it all. Thank you!!! I will make this again and again.

Cake Mixes from Scratch and Variations

Wow! Very good and very versatile!! I took the advice of a reviewer and did it with oil instead of butter/shortening, and it was truly delicious. I topped with powdered sugar, and for some, I dropped in a Hershey's Kiss. Simply lovely.... but seriously, use oil.

Very good! I added cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg (just a dash of each) for a sweet smelling bread. It turned out beautifully. I will make this again for sure.
